Witty traps, a classic 1st generation escape room in the heart of the “party district of Budapest” – right in the middle of Gozsdu udvar. Smaller teams or a couple can play the room. Great value for money entertainment.
Könyvbár Restaurant
Just cannot get enough of the quality and mesmerizing Goulash soup – this time from @konyvbar This cozy restaurant excels not only with the gourmet food selection but the level of creativity they inject in the concept of restoration. Literally, every month a new book is on the table – where all the little details including the menu are meant to bring the book to life. International cuisine, with a taste of Hungary. This January (2020) book lovers can “eat” J. K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!
Déryné Bisztró Budapest
A family-owned Hungarian bistro with a taste of France. While our favorite dish is nowadays the wild boar stew, their onion soup is just wow. A cozy place, a great choice for family anniversaries, romantic dinners. Rather a high-end place, pricy but worth it. @Déryné Bistro
Széchenyi bath
While our most loved bath in Budapest is Rudas, still this beautifully architected landmark of the city is a must-visit. Most of the tourists @Széchenyi are coming from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, and Russia. Another cool thing to try it the so-called Sparties, during the weekend the pools are open until dawn, hosting a big (foam) party.
Secret of the depth
It was a cold, snowy afternoon. Actually, there was no snow, unfortunately – nowadays it’s pretty hard to find any in Budapest, but instead, we discovered a funky steampunk escape room (or rather an escape submarine) @MysteryGames close to Octogon in the 6th district. It really felt like in Norway somewhere in the 60s. Hi-five for the cool design! We’d recommend to players with some experience.
